knives
 (United States)
Dear Friends, I visit G.H. in the summer and I like salmon fishing, although I can't say I've caught many up there. I usually fish out of North Point Marina north of Chicago. I love this web site and hope to be able to catch more fish in the years to come, because of it. My ? is I saw people cleaning fish with a strange knife,I'm sure its not strange to you all,and was wondering what it was? Just thought I would liven up the discussion board. Thanx Big Nate

Nate

The knife I believe you are refering to is a Forschner Knife. I is a rather large knife with a stiff blade simular to a butcher knife.
