Grand Haven Weekend of 5/19
 (N/A)

Fishing is excellent in Grand Haven right now. We caught 16 on Saturday and were done at 9:00. We also lost another 10 or 12 so the bite was really good. The best fishing was between 190 and 210 feet of water and the fish were in the top 60 feet. The best baits were the Stingray sized double orange crush, Stingray sized Kevorkian, Pro-Troll White blade with a Hitman no-see-um Rapture fly, Pro-Troll Blue Bubble Blade with a Blue Bubble Rapture fly. I will be giving a seminar at the Grand Rapids Steelheaders meeting this evening. If you have time stop by.

I did not fish on Sunday but Captain Ken on the Tammy Too charter boat caught 15 and was done at 9:00 again. look for the fishing to be good for the next 3 weeks to a month.
