South Haven and Grand Haven
 (United States)

We returned from South Haven today since last Monday.  The fishing down there is fantastic.  You can catch lots and lots of Kings in the 2-6 pound class in a very short time.  The best fishing was 95-140 foot of water.  The best fishing was 55-120 feet down, divers 40 back on 3, wire divers 240-270 back on 1, and 13-20 colors of Lead Core.  The best lures all week were regular-sized and Stingray-sized Stingers in Mixed Veggies, Natural Born Killer, and Cory's Bait.  Stingrays in Lemon Ice, Can't Afford It, Green Dolphin, and Blue Dolphin were also very good.

In Grand Haven, today, 5/22, the water warmed up and the fish showed up in the muddy water.  A few boats did very well first thing this morning and the bite got better as the morning and day carried on.  This afternoon many boats said the bite was a lot better as the day went on.  Best water was 25-50 feet of water, 20-35 feet down, divers back 40-60 feet, and 3-6 colors of Lead Core.  The best lures today in Grand Haven were Stingray Mixed Veggies, Hawg Wild, Natural Born Killer, Coyote, Blue Veggies, and the Fuzzy Bear Buffalo Bill.
