Grand Haven Report for Weekend of May 13 & 14
 (United States)

Due to the nasty weather and huge waves on Thursday and Friday the fish were very scattered this past weekend. We found our fish in 80 to 110 feet of water. Some others found their fish in the muddy water around 30 to 50 feet of water near bottom. Downriggers were definitely the weapon of choice as all of our hits came from 45 to 65 down.

We need some steady weather now for a few days to allow the fish to set up and the fishing should get very good. The hot baits last weekend included Stingray size Stingers in Blue Natural Born Killer, Blue Thunder, and Blue Veggie.
