Grand Haven report for weekend of May 6 and 7
 (United States)
Fishing was good out of Grand Haven over the last weekend. On Saturday we went 11 for 16 fishing in the mud and dirty water around the piers. All but two of the fish were very nice size Kings with the other two being mid sized coho. The hot baits included Stingray sized Hawg Wild, Green Dolphin, Natural Born Killer, and Mixed Veggie. Most of the fish were cuaght on 3 to 7 color cores in 40 to 50 feet of water.

Sunday was a very different day from Saturday. On Sunday we went 8 for 14 with the fish taken in 180 to 230 feet of water. The riggers did the majority of the damage from 25 to 55 down. The best baits included Stingray and regular sized Stinger Blue Veggie, Mixed Veggie, and Natural Born Killer. Most of our fish were coho in the mid size range.
