Fly Fishing Anyone?
 (N/A)

Does anyone out there do any fly fishing? I got back into fly fishing on our vacation at the Texas coast the last few years and have really become interested in trying it around here. Last year I started to do some bass fishing with flies on some of the local bayous. This was made a little more interesting by fishing out of a kayak. You would be surprised how a good sized bass or dogfish can pull a kayak around.

Recently I have been noticing a new fly fishing sport on the internet. This is carp on the fly. There are acually guide services on Grand Traverse Bay that cater to fly fishing for carp only. They are comparing it to bonefishing the salt water flats.

I would like to here from anyone that has some local fly fishing or fly tying experiences to share.

Terry
