GH N Pier Fishing Report
 (United States)
Once again, Jeff was the master angler of the north pier taking his limit of Perch on Friday June 28 2007 and then 27 on Saturday, Sunday was dead, but Jeff caught a steelhead.  I have no idea how the morning fishing was the week prior, but Monday the 1st was extremely slow.  On wednesday, July 4th, I made 20 bucks by reeling in a tourists new Rapala tackle box that washed into the Lake. He offered to pay me for it after I had already reeled it in, was his choice.  Alewives are thick.  Maybe Thursday, today, will be the day.  I won't know, have to go to work.  Good Luck - piermaster

Thursday afternoon, Jeff took 20 decent sized perch off the N Pier, we had a baitsteeling Muskegonite out there as well, who tried to buy everyone's fish and did not understand that sitting in the bait shop (sw corner of N pier) would eventually end up with water in the face and cast nets on the ol' line.  Finally, He wised up when we stopped letting him reach into our buckets and told him to get his own bait.  Then he left.  I took seven decent sized perch, Tim stayed through the storm. PierMaster out.

07/15/07--N pier was as dead today as it has been all week.  Pete caught the only perch and Catfishin Jimmy caught a few small ones and about 3 or 5 catfish.  We all left by 11:15 am.  Maybe some of that cold water will bring in some bigger fish later this week or next.  PierMaster out
