Whats the problem with the discussion board?
(United States) Modified By Fish on 7/7/2006 3:34:21 PM)

I am wondering why no one is using the discussion board.  Are we to competitive to let other fisherman know whats happing?  Is it to hard to use?  Is there something we can change to make it more appealing?   I had one charterboat captin write in and say that Capt. Jon's report was more of an advertisement than a report and he would like equal time,  I told him he could right his own artical under Great Lakes fishing report.  He has not regestered or contacted me sence.... Whats up with that.  Just want to complain and then not follow through or what...

I would like to have your comments on our discussion board...

I don't believe that there is anything wrong with this board. I do believe the board is reflecting the normal slow down in fishing we have around Grand Haven in June. I personally have not been out since the Offshore Challenge. I am sure it will pick up in the coming weeks.

I do appreciate Capt. Jon's reports. I am encouraged by the upswing in fishing recently. As far as his content being an advertisement. Any fisherman uses what they have confidence in period. I use his reports as a reference which helps me select lure presentations that help me catch more fish. One negative person should not and does not effect the positive influence Capt. Jon's reports have.
