Grand Haven-Boat anglers when the weather has allowed have been fishing from 100-200', but the best water depth has been150'. Anglers are still catching kings, but they have been deep in the water column. Downrigger depth of 125'-150'. 5,7, and 10 colors of leadcore with orange spoons have caught steelhead. At the deep depths anglers have been using Moonshine spoons. One good one is the "Green Jeans". Pier anglers are struggling for steelhead and whitefish. Some days are good and some days are slow. Very hit and miss. Anglers are using spawn for the steelhead and single eggs or spikes for the whitefish/Menominee. Muskegon-Pier anglers are saying it is slower here than at Grand Haven, but they are still trying for steelhead with spawn. No boat info.
This is probably going to be one of my last fishing reports, since I'll be finished for the season on Tuesday. Thanks for posting my reports and I have gotten back a lot of nice comments on my reports and Matt's. I'll send my reports next year too.
