Fishing Reports

Grand Haven--Boat anglers have been having great success fishing for salmon. The majority of the catch are kings and Cohos. Anglers are having luck from pierheads-100' and 15'-40' down on the riggers. The baits are mostly J-plugs in the white or pearl color. Pier anglers are catching a very few salmon while casting spoons. No perch are being caught.

Muskegon--Boat anglers are catching salmon from the pierheads to 150' and downrigger depth is 15'-50'. Most anglers around the pierheads were using J-plugs, but as the anglers went deeper flies and spoons in the color of green working well.
Kings are also being caught while jigging in Muskegon Lake at the Sand Docks.
