Fishing Reports

Fishing out of Grand Haven right now is GREAT! Boats are coming in with good numbers for fish and good size also.

Grand Haven--Water depth is changing daily, but today boat anglers did well in 70'-100' and downrigger depth of 30'-80'. Spoons of greens and blues are working well. Fish have also started to bite paddles and spinnies. Those colors are white, green, and white/green. Fly colors are whites/greens and a green "pickle" color. Pier anglers are doing ok fishing for steelhead using shrimp and some casting of orange spoons. A limited number of perch have also been caught.

Talked to anglers last night in
Muskegon and this is current---salmon anglers are having a great time catching salmon out of Muskegon too. Water depth is pier heads to 120'. But the magic depth is 90'. The best downrigger depth was 50'. Baits and colors are the same as Grand Haven. I even had a boat catch 2 kings while trolling in Muskegon Lake

            No perch.
