Grand Haven--Pier fishing has really slowed, but anglers are starting to be able to catch alewives in their cast nets and use them for bait. NOT many, but a few. Alewife size ranges from "perch" size to "spawning" size. Boat anglers are fishing from 70'-150', but best depth is 120'. Spoons are bait of choice and in colors of orange, gold, and gold/orange. No perch. Muskegon--Pier anglers are still using silver jigs when jigging for walleye with some sucess. Fishing the south pier has basically come to an end, since the city has installed the railing again. Boat anglers have been fishing waters in the channel out to 150'. Walleye have been caught in the channel and around the pierheads. Kings also have been caught around the pierheads and out. Spoons are the bait and colors are the same as GH. No perch. Amanda
