Grand Haven--Pier angling is very slow. Anglers are still trying for browns, steelhead, and walleye, but not having much luck. Anglers are using spawn, gobies, and casting spoons as bait. Boat anglers have started to pick up kings in 40-50'FOW around the pier heads and to the north and south of G.Haven. Spoons have been working best and colors are yellow, gold, and orange or your favorite spring salmon bait. Perch anglers are struggling too. The east wind and dirty water from the river have scattered the perch. So anglers are really searching. Muskegon--Same old song and dance, Pier anglers have not been catching many walleye, but they are still jigging on the short pier next to the Coast Guard Station. No anglers have been fishing for browns or steelhead off the pier. Boat anglers have caught a few kings also in 40-50FOW around the pier heads and to the north and south. Spoons baits again and same colors as GH. Guys have tried for perch in L.Michigan, but no luck. They can't seem to find them. Amanda
