Fishing Reports

Fishing this past week has produced a mixed bag of Kings, Coho, Steelhead and Lake Trout. Because of increasingly warm water, most success has been from 140 to 240 feet of water while fishing down 80 or more feet. Best lures include Moonshine spoons in both Magnum and regular sizes and Spin Doctor and fly combinations in green and yellow. Some fish have been caught on white paddles with Oceana or Arctic Ice flies as well. Meat rigs have produced some of the larger fish if you can find herring or ballyhoo strips. For detailed reports from Captain Willis Kerridge, tune in to local radio station WAWL, 103.5 FM at 7:40 AM on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings. If you are unable to reach the station, you can receive it online. Forecasted North winds this weekend should bring cooler water. Good luck. Rich Wilson.
