Fishing off Grand Haven has begun to improve. While cold water temps have kept the fish scattered and on the move, most catches have come 30 to 80 feet down in 80 to 160 FOW. Some kings of all three age classes have been available with a very few steelhead as well. Perhaps the most surprising and useful information is that MAGNUM spoons, especially Fuzzy Bears in the green and green and gold patterns with gold-backed in low light conditions and silver-backed in the sun have produced best. Various other magnums from DW and Stinger in blues and greens with some orange have also taken fish. Coppers from 150 to 300 seem to work best. Be sure to check frequently to avoid killing unwanted small kings. Rich
