Fishing Reports
26

Because of inconsistent reports and to save fuel, we opted to fish the muddy and stained water in close.  Temps were cold and baitfish were plentiful.  Thursday provided Steelhead and Kings and a lone Brown on 3 to 7 color lead cores with bright spoons with spots. Riggers set 24 and 30 took hits as well.  DW spoons included Mac n' Cheese and Wrecking Ball as well as the Stinger Shanster.  Friday was cloudy and we took Kings and Steelhead on the DW SS Hello Darlin' and the new DW UV 3 Days at Sea.  A Pro King Fireball also took a nice Steelhead as well.  We fished 40 to 60 fow with the same rigger depths and lead cores.  A diver set 75 back also took a nice Steelhead.  All fish accept the Brown were taken at speeds from 3.2 mph to 4.0 at the ball.  You don't need to watch the poles at this SPEED, the hits are AWESOME and you can HEAR them!!  A reminder to members - TAKE A KID FISHING!!  Enter their catch in the Youth Contest.  All entries will be recognized at the Big King weigh-in.  Also, sign up for the Weeklong Contest.  It begins on Friday, August 8.  Get involved! Support your organization! Rich
