Fishing Reports

Grand Haven---Anglers are fishing 75-175 FOW and running baits from the surface down to 70 ft.  Spoons are still taking most fish and colors are orange, blue, and green.  Spinnie bites have came on a white spinnie with green fly.  Meat rigs that are yellow have caught fish too.

Pier anglers water has warmed too, so VERY few steelhead are still around.  Anglers are using shrimp, but some alewives are still being caught to use for bait.
Anglers have tried for perch in front of the north pier on the mudline and in the perch holes.  Perch fishing is very hit-n-miss.
Muskegon---Anglers are fishing 90-120 FOW and  around the first set of south nets out of Muskegon.  Spoons in top 30 ft. . Mini and regular size.  Spoon colors are UV mixed veggie, orange, and blues.
No pier fishing or perch here.
Most fish being caught are steelhead and trout.  Few kings are around
