Grand Haven and Muskegon have slowed for salmon fishing and the fog, weather, and wind has made fishing very difficult Grand Haven---Salmon anglers have been fishing 85-110 FOW and 40-90 ft down. Spoons are still the main bait of choice in colors of blues and yellows. The commercial fishing nets located between Grand Haven and Mona Lake have been holding salmon so anglers have been fishing around them. Fishing around and between the nets is difficult and anglers should use caution if they decide to fish the areas by the nets.** Muskegon---Anglers have also been fishing the commercial nets out of this port too. 90-100 FOW 40-50 ft down and 200 coppers. Spoons also here in the colors of blue, green, and mixed veggie. Pier fishing at G.Haven is slow. Still can get some bait, either alewives or shad. Anglers also using shrimp. Mostly caught has been catfish, sheephead and bass. No perch info at either port. **For those anglers that want more information on commercial fishing nets – go to http://www.miseagrant.umich.edu/explore/fisheries/know-your-nets/
