Holland--Anglers who fished south of Holland had better luck over the weekend, than those that fished straight out of Holland. Best water was 160-180 and 30-85ft down. No one color or bait was better than any other. So, spoons and spinnies/flies worked. Colors were orange, blue, and green.

Pier anglers struggled trying to catch steelhead and perch.

Perch anglers also struggled over the weekend.

Port Sheldon---Some anglers fished deep and had good luck with kings and steelhead. 220-250ft of water. 40-120 down. 150,225, and 300 coppers worked well, as did the 10 color leadcore. Spoons took the most of the hits. No "good" color. So, oranges, blues, and greens.

Grand Haven---Anglers who went to the south (Port Sheldon area) have been doing better. Anglers out of Grand Haven have been targeting Lake trout.

Pier anglers also are struggling to get steelhead and perch off the piers.

I feel that kings are on the move north and will be in Grand haven waters soon.
