Fishing Reports

Grand Haven---Weather and waves have kept lake anglers to a minimum. In fact, I have not interviewed a boat. Pier anglers are doing ok. Steelhead, browns, and just recently a few whitefish. All have been caught using spawn.

Holland/Port Sheldon--A few boats have gotten out to troll the shoreline. Steelhead and browns have been caught, but mostly browns. Orange and gold body baits or spoons (same color) have worked. 30-40' of water out of Port Sheldon.Pier fisherman have been struggling using spawn.
The water is still very low at the Port Sheldon launch. The mouth of Pigeon Lake is being dredged and making the water very muddy out to 40'.
