Fishing Reports

This is current through 8/30 Fishing off Grand Haven has slowed but there are still good fish to be caught.  Water temps which are warm at the surface and very cold below 65 feet have left a very narrow band of good temps for salmon.  Try fishing from 55 feet down to 75 feet in 75 to 110 feet of water.  Paddles on the riggers, mostly greens and whites with the Poofster, Pickled Sunshine and other green flies have been effective.  Green spinnies and glow spoons on divers have also been hit.  Our best results have come on glow, Wonderbread, and green J-Plugs and Dreamweaver plugs fished off the 150 and 225 coppers and full lead cores.  Rich
