Fishing Reports

Salmon fishing has been great at both G.Haven and Muskegon.

G. Haven--Boat anglers have been fishing 60-80ft and downrigger depth has been 20 to the bottom. Spoons are working well and the colors are blues, green and oranges. Pier anglers are starting to struggle to catch the steelhead that have been around. Water has really warmed quickly. But, shrimp has been the bait of choice. No perch.

Muskegon--Boat anglers have been fishing 60-130ft and downrigger depth is 50-75. Spoons in the same colors as GH. No pier or perch info.

FYI--Salmon anglers are noticing a lot of lamprey this year and they have been noticing the lamprey, since the start of the salmon season.
