Grand Haven---Anglers are fishing 85-130 FOW. Kings are biting meat rigs in the colors of blue and purple in the morning and green and yellow later on divers and 300 coppers.

Going through last weeks fishing report I was really proud of how closely the fishing followed my prediction until I made it to the end. The part about the winds cooling things off and sustaining the good fishing through this week was a "crash and burn"!

Because of fog, storms, and wind my port have had very little fishing pressure, especially Muskegon.  In fact, I don't have a report for Muskegon.

A quick check of the buoy in Port Sheldon shows the bottom has warmed up over 12 degrees in the last 5 days and the fishing has warmed up with it.
