Grand Haven/Muskegon-At both ports stealhead are being caught off the pier. It is still "hit and miss" and spawn is working best.

Grand Haven-Boat anglers when the weather has allowed have been fishing from 100-200', but the best water depth has been150'. Anglers are still catching kings, but they have been deep in the water column.
If your leaves are raked up, and the wind isn't blowing at gale strength, the fishing is still worth the effort on the lake.
Grand Haven and Muskegon have the same report for salmon anglers---Anglers have been fishing waters from 150'-300', but the best water seems to be 200'-260' and downrigger depth is 20'-70'.
Don't miss the next few days! Fishing has remained excellent and you can't beat the incredible weather we have right now. We had another great evening last night as we had over 25 hits and landed 17 fish on a 4 hour charter.
Grand Haven---The water is very muddy from the waves on Friday still, so boat anglers are having to go out past the muddy water. Water depth is 160'-260' and downrigger depth is 40'-20'.
While last weeks wild weather certainly changed the water conditions, it did nothing to slow down the fishing.
